- It's as needed of Brown / White bread.
- You need 2 of : Cucumber medium size.
- It's 1 of : Onion small grated.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- You need to taste of Black pepper.
- It's 1 of : Capsicum chopped finely.
- You need 3 tbsp of : Mayonnaise / Malai (i used mayonnaise).
- You need 1/2 tsp of : Lemon juice :.
Veg. Cucumber Sandwich step by step
- Take cucumber peel it and wash it..
- Scoop out the seeds from the cucumber and grate it..
- Squeeze out the excess water from it by pressing it with hands..
- Keep it in a bowl..
- Now take onion peel it and wash it, grate it and take out the excess water from it by pressing it with hands..
- Keep it in the same bowl with cucumber..
- Take both of them in a bowl and add capsicum, salt, black pepper and mayonnaise / malai. Mix well..
- Add lemon juice and mix again..
- Take 2 bread slices spread mixture on one slice and then cover it with another slice..
- Now cut the slice in triangle shape..
- Chop of the sides of the bread..
- Place it in the fridge for 1/2 hr..
- After 1/2 hr take it out of the fridge and serve..
- Place it in a plate and serve with ketchup..
- Tips :.
- It can be served immediately also..but tastes just like market bought veg. sandwich when served little cold..
- I have used mayonnaise.....if using thick malai....use it fresh...whip it a little with spoon..
